Minesweeper is a classic logic game. Clear the board without opening a mine. Numbers tell you how many mines touch each cell.
Rules in brief
- Left-click (or tap) opens a cell
- If you open a mine, the game ends
- A number shows how many mines are in the eight surrounding cells
- Flag cells you are sure are mines
Beginner tips
Open corners and edges early. When a number matches the count of remaining closed neighbors, those neighbors are mines—flag them. When a number is already satisfied by flags, open the other neighbors.
